It lies in the southern part of Goa, towards the border with Karnataka state, in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary/Molem National Park. The water fall is at its peak flow during the monsoon months from mid-June to September and wanes out towards the summers from March to early June.

Take a Jeep safari through the Western Ghats, driving through rivers and over rocks. Refresh yourself at spectacular Dudhsagar Falls on the Goa-Karnataka border, and visit a local spice farm to learn about the cultivation of herbs and spices along with a nice Elephant ride.

Crocodile Tour With Spice Plantation & Old Goa

The huge, deadly looking crocodiles with dagger-like teeth are seen in the wild, right here in Goa in the narrow creek that intrudes into the thick mangrove jungle near the small village of Cumbarjua/Divar Island. The canal is a 15 km long stretch of water located about 20 minutes drive away from Panaji. It links the two biggest rivers in Goa – the Zuari and Mandovi. On the canal, there is a thriving and vibrant mangrove habitat which serves as spawning ground for fish, prawns, and mollusks.

Old Goa is a UNESCO world heritage site and is famed for its opulent buildings and churches reminiscent of the glory days of “Golden Goa”. It was abandoned by the Portuguese officially in 1843 when the capital was moved to Panjim or Panaji. Today, most of the remaining buildings and churches are maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and the church services are maintained by the Archdiocese of Goa.

The Braganza house is a sprawling mansion located at Chandor, 13 kilometres from Margao, in Southern Goa. Built in the 17th century, the Braganza mansion was the home of Luis De Menezes Braganza, the champion of Goa’s freedom.

This house is replete with elaborately ornate and antique furniture and curios garnered by the inhabitants of the household over time. There is also a chapel, ballrooms, dining halls and several other utility rooms, a statement on the flamboyant lifestyles of the past and is the only mansion with a private library with a large collection of books to boot.
